Wedgewood Pines is one of the greatest up and coming private clubs in Middlesex County. The club is currently holding a waitlist for membership for the last 3 consecutive years. 18 hole private facility with full chipping area & driving range, pool facility, restaurant and function ballroom inside a clubhouse open year round with full simulator sports room. 

We are searching for the candidate that wants to improve our facility while also improving their placement in the turf industry. Someone who has a passion for golf course maintenance and a willingness to jump into a multitude of tasks will excel in this position. While we may not be able to offer a managerial assistants position and high salary with private office of your own, what we can promise is a hands-on position that will advance your knowledge in all aspects of our golf maintenance program and hourly compensation with over-time for the hours you’ve worked. Eagerness, willingness and dedication are the traits we are most looking for. Perfect position for an assistant looking for some project experience, 2nd assistant/AIT/intern looking to make a stamp in their career. 

Last fall we upgraded irrigation control to mobile based Rain Bird Cirrus Pro, we utilize turf technology where most beneficial for our operation (TurfCloud, SpecConnect, Cirrus Pro,  AMI Central, etc…). This season we are wrapping up a full driving range overhaul, diving into multiple bunker renovations, continued improvements to our drainage infrastructure, tee laser-leveling and restructuring which is all completed in-house. We are also looking into maintenance shop and continued equipment upgrades and improvements. 

Work side by side in 2024 with course superintendent, mechanic, ownership and an extremely dedicated/strong returning veteran team.

Compensation and Benefits:
* $23-25/hr (1.5x OT after 40), with room to grow
* 1 to 2 days off weekly pending season/schedule,
